Ultrasonic systems:

Precisely measure liquid levels in open or closed vessels
Measure powdered toner levels in closed containers, “ink waves” inside rotary printer cylinders, powdered paint levels in a hopper, etc.
Measure architectural glass thickness as it is extruded during manufacturing
Measure the height of a movable deck in a swimming pool
Measure the level of an oil/water mixture in a closed vessel
Measure electrical test probe position in a closed loop system with +/- 0.001” positioning accuracy.
Measure solid fuel rocket burn rate.

Used LevelMetrics sensors in a roll-coating application where other manufacturers' ultrasonic sensors had previously failed.
Installed Volumetric sensors in the in-ground storage tanks at one of their manufacturing plants to monitor the level of diesel fuel and waste oil from machine tools
