The most accurate real-time Motorsport fuel measurement system

Pit Tank Fuel Measurement System (PTFMS) was developed in order to provide the missing link in fuel measurement technology, giving you imperative information for strategic planning.  Technoresearch has supplied all the majors CART, IRL, IMSA and INDY 500 racing teams with pit tank fuel measurement system that uses ultrasonic technology for their fuel consumption strategy.
PTFMS is one of the most accurate and stable real-time fuel measurement systems on the market today. PTFMS uses an ultrasonic transducer that emits a burst of energy which reflects off the target fuel/air surface and back to the sensor. 

Digital signal mapping algorithms create and store a complete profile or map of the instantaneous fuel levels. This information is used to accurately calculate the amount of fuel in the pit tank, either via the Windows™ software FuelView™ or the remote digital display. PTFMS provides real data, in real-time, giving you a solid edge over the competition.

Helmet Mount 
PTFMS includes a helmet-mounted fuel indicator LED to assist vehicle refueling personnel in dispensing fuel. The LED color indicates status of the fuel dispensing process as shown: 

System Description
An RS232 serial line links the controller to a computer which is used to calibrate the individual pit tank, measure the fuel level in the tank and measure the amount of fuel dispensed in the car through PTFMS Windows™ program FuelView™.  A remote mounted digital display can be used in place of the computer to monitor the pit tank fuel level and the fuel dispensed in the vehicle.
